Samrat Bhattacharya

Samrat is a Staff Scientist at Keystone in the Seattle office. In his over two-decade career, Samrat has helped address complex operational and business challenges in asset management, marketing and customer support organizations. Prior to joining Keystone, Samrat spent more than 8 years at Amazon, where he led the development of forecasting and causal inference solutions for the seller support organizations to improve the selling experience of third-party sellers. Prior to Amazon, he led the development of in-house marketing budget optimization framework for the PNC bank to improve ROI of the bank's marketing budget. Samrat started his career at Fifth Third Bank where he led the development of proprietary stock return prediction models that was used to actively manage long-only and long-short stock portfolios. In the past, he has also served as a board member and President at the Seattle Economics Council, which serves as a forum for business and economic issues and a network for economists in Washington state.

Outside of work, Samrat loves to take long road trips on less traveled highways and scenic byways.
