Urbashee Paul

Senior Economist

Urbashee is a Senior Economist in Keystone's New York office, bringing expertise in data analytics and causal inference from her roles at Analysis Group, the Federal Reserve, and other research organizations. At Analysis Group, she contributed to cases involving bankruptcies, financial valuation, and securities analysis for Fortune 500 and government clients, transforming complex data into insights that facilitated multibillion-dollar settlements.

Her doctoral research centered on the economic impacts of immigration policy changes, using causal inference and machine learning techniques to examine shifts in labor market dynamics and multinational firm productivity. At the Federal Reserve, Urbashee conducted policy research, analyzing the relationship between election cycles and tax policy changes, as well as corporate responses to temporary R&D tax credits. Across her roles, Urbashee emphasizes a practical, data-driven approach focused on delivering insights that shape strategic decision-making and drive meaningful outcomes in both policy and industry.

Outside her professional pursuits, Urbashee channels her creativity as an artist specializing in charcoal portraits and as a classically trained vocalist.
